Cerris Systems is the mechanical trade partner for the Fort Leonard Wood Hospital replacement project.
The new facility sits on 52 acres just Northeast of the existing General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital — the oldest existing hospital in the Military Hospital System to date.
This new community hospital is five stories and includes a 235,376-SF hospital, 193,300-SF medical clinic, 20,459-SF central utility plant, and additional supporting facilities. Our team has completed extensive preconstruction and BIM modeling under the scope of work for this project. All HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas aspects of the project have been prefabricated out of our Kansas City fab shop as well.
