MMC Contractors provided plumbing and HVAC fabrication and installation for the F&M Bank Arena — formerly known as the Montgomery County Multi-Purpose Event Center (MPEC).
The arena is designed for maximum flexibility to accommodate a variety of sports, including being the home court and training facility for the Austin Peay University basketball team. The main arena’s floor has a permanent ice surface underneath, making the space capable of hosting ice hockey, figure skating, and general skating. The facility will have a second sheet of ice open to the public for general skating, as well as hockey practice facilities with a pro shop and locker rooms.
Event capacity will range from 4,900 for ice events, 5,500 for basketball, and up to 6,400 for concerts.
