MMC Contractors, alongside our fellow trade partners Maine-based Johnson & Jordan Mechanical Contractors and ABM Mechanical, was awarded the Phase I Modernization project at the Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine.
The project scope included the eight-story patient tower, 250,000-SF core and shell, a 95,000-SF build-out, a new chiller and boiler plant, an OR suite, and patient treatment and procedure rooms.
The expansion project was constructed within the confines of the adjacent structures. Our team carefully planned logistics for the project in the preconstruction and construction phases to ensure a safe and successful project, while maintaining public access to the hospital.
