2525 Grand Boulevard Office Tower

Erected in 2003, the 24-story Class A office building in the Crown Center area of downtown Kansas City, Missouri, is a 595,600 square foot property designed by the renowned architectural firm Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Architects.

J.E. Dunn Construction selected MMC Contractors to provide preconstruction and installation of complete mechanical systems including the HVAC, piping and plumbing under a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) format. MMC Contractors installed an underground fuel oil system, consisting of four (4) 25,000 gallon double containment tanks, fuel oil pumps and related piping to generators in addition to all of the office buildings plumbing and HVAC systems.

The 24-story office building is one of three high-rise structures in the Crown Center area constructed during the development of the Hospital Hill area. Other high-rise properties MMC Contractors constructed in Crown Center include the Sante Fe Condominiums and the Sheraton Crown Center Hotel (formerly Hyatt Crown Center).
