MMC Contractors was selected by Turner Construction to provide preconstruction and construction services for the new Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway.
We provided complete preconstruction services moving seamlessly into the construction phase of the project. During preconstruction MMC Contractors provided multiple budgets, life cycle costing including acoustical evaluation, maintenance and operations analysis, indoor air quality, vibration analysis, system replacement cost analysis, flexibility studies, energy costs and system comparisons, and more.
A significant portion of the plumbing and HVAC piping systems, along with equipment skids for the central utility plant, were fabricated in the Kansas City, Missouri, fabrication shop making Just In Time deliveries to the jobsite across town.
The casino opened on schedule in February 2012.
