St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa Award

MMC Contractors was awarded the mechanical contract for the 500,000 SF expansion and renovation at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. MMCContractors joint ventured with McIntosh Services of Tulsa, a longtime fixture in the mechanical industry in Tulsato pursue the project.

The LEED Silver project consists of a new 450,000 square foot patient tower plus 50,000 square feet of remodel and various central plant modifications and will begin immediately after the first of the year.

The project has a planned completion date of Summer 2014. A unique requirement of this project was that each trade must have a LEED AP on site and our senior project manager is one of 34 LEED APs on staff throughout the company.

The Mcintosh/MMC joint venture will be under a lump sum contract to Manhattan Construction ,Tulsa, OK. The engineer of record is Page Southerland Page , Dallas, TX.

Some interesting facts about the project relative to the Kansas City office healthcare experience:

  • 2nd major project for Manhattan Construction's Tulsa Office
