KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI - The Kansas City office of MMC Contractors continues to build on long-standing industrial client relationships with good bookings this week at Intervet/Merck and Bayer CropScience. These two recent bookings should keep several people busy during the month of September!

Intervet/Merck: MMC has been selected for the construction of a new mechanical room (approx. 40’x40’) for a new Clean Steam Generator. Work will include all concrete floors, walls, equipment pads, lighting & controls. The piping includes approximately 300’ of 4” stainless steel underground waste piping, plant steam, condensate, clean steam, air, soft water, DI water & chiller water. The project has a duration of 4 months starting Aug. 29th.

Merck Animal Health offers its customers a broad choice of vaccines, anti-infective and anti-parasitic drugs, a complete range of fertility management products, pharmaceutical specialty products, innovative delivery solutions, performance technologies and value-added programs such as pet recovery services and livestock data management tools. Intervet/Merck has been a valued client since 2000 and we look forward to another successful project in this facility.

Bayer CropSciense PSRD Safety Relief Device project. The project consists of installing approximately 150 pressure safety relief devices to meet new standards. The project is to be completed during the Bayer Fall 2011 Sencor shutdown during the month of September and should require approximately 2,500 manhours.
